25 Wilton Road, London
Commissioned by Max Architects & Kier, the lobby and reception area has a textured feature wall with a metallic concrete surface. The pattern on the wall is developed from the contour lines of the Lugnaquilla mountain in County Wicklow, Ireland.
The 70m2 wall (10m long x 7m high) comprises 37 individual panels, cast in fibreglass reinforced concrete, with a surface finish which combines powered tin, a small amount of copper and cement to create a silver metallic finish.
